Our rich cuisine is based on three main ingredients: fish, fruits and vegetables from our land.
Salted fish such as mullet or the golden, salted fish roe, roe, and the delicious prawns, combine perfectly with lettuce, tomatoes, artichokes, peppers, raw or cooked, from our garden.
Our dish par excellence is the “Caldero” genuinely sailor arrroz stew and good fish with a secret ingredient, the peppers (small dried red peppers).
At dessert time, there is always the difficult task of choosing between the magnificent fruits of the orchard, or the sweet-salty counterpoint to a rich pie “Fawn”, realized with a dollop of butter, flour and sugar and meat stuffed poultry and egg.
The gourmands can opt for a delicious bacon heaven.
